The oil is unrefined, with a clear golden colour, a light nutty and perilla aroma, and a smooth, non-greasy taste. It pairs well with both Asian and Western everyday meals.

Perilla seed oil naturally contains a high level of alpha-linolenic acid (ALA), an essential plant-based Omega-3 fatty acid that the body cannot produce on its own and therefore needs to obtain through the diet. Each 15 mL serving contains approximately 8.1 g of Omega-3 (ALA), making it an ideal choice for adding plant-based essential fatty acids to the daily diet.
